Watch out now, there is talk of a mermaid varnish today, one that will be my must-have this summer, which sends you directly swimming in a lagoon in Thailand with Leonardo Di Caprio (yes I saw "The Beach" there's no long ^^) : Ixia of Il était un vernis !

When I discovered the Vegetal collection I was not thinking that Ixia would win my heart, I bought Cirque Cerillos last summer and I thought it would be a dupe ... big mistake ! Ixia is more blue, an intense and incredibly bright blue. I can not describe to you this color, you must look at the pictures, there are no words for such a bomb !

I wanted to decorate it with a tribal pattern, who knows why. So I started by drawing a sort of ruffian shifted with Ixia on a Essie blanc basis. There, I stopped, I found it so beautiful like this that I paused the work to enjoy this manicure for one day without any artifice.

The next day the call of the brushes was too strong then I have unsheathed a liner brush and black acrylic to unleash my imagination and in the end it gave this result. I love how it turned out, I like the contrast of black and white pattern with this incredible blue.

  15. What a fabulous colour! I love the free-hand decoration on your accent nails. It is so precise. I often like to wear a polish a little while before adding nail art as well; polishes like Ixia are just so beautiful it's nice to enjoy them without any embellishment. :)
